I never thought I would feel confident enough to attend a gym and workout without feeling embarrassed or silly. Having PT with Mel totally changed my outlook and I still see the benefits today after (unfortunately) moving too far away to continue our sessions. All the thoughts of PT being scary totally disappeared as Mel made me feel relaxed and comfortable - we mostly grimaced but always laughed through our sessions and I always left feeling motivated. I now feel so much more educated, knowledgeable and confident to workout in the gym (and use equipment!). Having an extra person on your side to support you achieve your goals really is the best. I started doing PT with Mel at the end of April 2019 and am still going in August 2020. I had no idea what to expect when I signed up, but Mel immediately put me at ease and I can’t imagine not doing PT now. I’m never one to be overly clear with what I want to achieve, but Mel has helped transform my life into a much more active and healthy one. Each session is different and I never know what to expect – she constantly makes me push myself beyond what I think I’m capable of, and we also have a laugh while doing so. If anyone wants to give PT a try then you don’t need to look any further than Mel!

PT sessions with Mel have been amazing!! Since starting sessions with her last year, I have discovered a love of exercising. I even look forward to the muscle aches the next day as I then know that I’ve worked hard. I’ve become a much more confident person as I’ve lost weight and seen my body become more toned. Mel is great at encouraging me and pushing me to work harder during my sessions, but still making them fun as well (there is usually a giggle or two). I can’t recommend Mel enough! I look forward to going to my personal training sessions with Mel. The workouts are always different, challenging, and customized for me. The mix of cardio and strength training means there is never a dull moment in each workout. And Mel always pushes me to do more weight or burpees than I thought I could! I started with Mel early 2019 and it was the best decision I’ve made!! She always keeps sessions new and interesting, pushing me to achieve things I never thought I could. When I started with Mel, I struggled with squats and now I can squat with 20kg barbell! These pt sessions haven’t just helped with my physical health, but it helps so much with my mental health.
